Course Overview

The Food Safety Supervision Skill Set course is designed for individuals working in the hospitality and food service industry who are responsible for ensuring food safety standards are met in their workplace.

Completing this course equips you with the skills and knowledge to oversee food handling practices, prevent foodborne illness, and comply with the Food Act 2003 and Food Regulation 2015.

This nationally recognised Skill Set includes:

  • SITXFSA005 – Level 1 Food Safety: Basic hygiene practices and food safety awareness for food handlers.
  • SITXFSA006 – Level 2 Food Safety: Advanced food handling skills to manage preparation, storage, service, and disposal safely.

Upon successful completion, students receive an Official Statement of Attainment that acts as a valid food safety certificate.

Training Outcomes
